Joshua was removed from my care after I had served as his essential caregiver for eight and a half years.
February 24, 2026 — Description disputed.
I report that the court was told Joshua was in a vegetative state. I dispute that description.
September 29, 2026 — Further court hearing.
I report that Joshua’s condition was again presented as unchanged while end-of-life decisions were discussed.
September 30, 2026 — Visit with Joshua.
During my first visit in fourteen months, I observed responses including blinking, movement, laughter, and vocalizations.
October 4, 2026 — Second visit.
I again observed responses from Joshua.
