Joshua’s Story
Joshua Saeta is my brother. He is 49 years old, and he is a person whose life, relationships, and humanity extend far beyond this campaign. I am his sister, Jennifer Saeta.
In February 2017, Joshua suffered a cardiac arrest and an anoxic brain injury. He became wholly dependent on others for his care. I was his essential caregiver for eight and a half years, including five and a half years caring for him at home.
Why I am asking for help
His journey
On August 26, 2025, Joshua was removed from my care. I am now urgently seeking help to protect his life and rights. I dispute the description of Joshua as being in a vegetative state. I have photographs, videos, records, and witnesses documenting the responses I have observed.
